has a nice article showcasing some interesting Eastern Shore events celebrating Black history. I'm particularly pleased to see the Harriet Tubman Museum and Educational Center included (424 Race Street in Cambridge), which is hosting Songs of the Underground Railroad on March 27, 2022, 3-5 p.m.

Linda Harris, a docent at the Center is also founder of We Walk with Harriet. where she organizes people to walk 116 miles in the steps of Harriet Tubman from Cambridge, MD to Kennett Square, PA. In October, I was honored to participate in the water crossing portion of the trip, representing the "Black Jacks" which is what the black mariners of the times were called. As a sailor, it made being on the water even more special.
