Chapter Archivist, James R. Morgan III will be speaking on his book The Lost Empire: Black Freemasonry in the Old West (1867-1906) on Thursday April 1, 2021 to Heritage Lodge #371 in New York City. This book began as a genealogy research project and soon turned into a harrowing tale of old west gun slingers, secret societies and a rewriting of African American history in the wild west!
